My latest repair of my older model SUV became challenging because of the part needed and the age of the vehicle. As the original owner of the vehicle who has taken great effort to maintain the vehicle, I am very cautious who works on the SUV. The nature of the work required the part to be sent to another repair facility. After installation of the repaired part, Lorenzo Foster, Knudsen's Service Manager, took the time to drive my vehicle to confirm the repair was done correctly. Lorenzo determined the part was not repaired correctly and returned the part for further work. The third party facility told Lorenzo the needed part could not be located because of the age of the vehicle. Lorenzo, knowing the importance of this vehicle to me and his commitment to his customers that repair work performed at Knudsen's or on behalf of Knudsen's is done correctly , took his own time to locate the needed part, coordinated with the third party facility to ensure they would finish the work they were responsible to complete and negotiated that the third party facility would reduce the charge to complete the work. The repair was successful and I am very happy with the result. Without Lorenzo's diligent follow-up, my vehicle would not have been repaired properly and likely would have sustained significant damage if I had driven it for any period of time.
